QUESTION: I am getting light, low quality printing on my RTK die-cut labels. How can I improve the quality of the printing?

ANSWER:

The most likely cause of this problem is that the wrong ribbon is installed.

There are two black ribbons used with the Brady GlobalMark.

The ribbon with pPart #96089 is specifically for printing with the RTK die-cut supplies. Be sure you are using this ribbon with the die-cut RTK labels. The die-cut RTK labels have a different coating on them and the ink from the standard ribbon does not adhere well.

The ribbon with part# 76739 is for standard printing on continuous tapes.
