A cable is used to connect the LC-100IF interface unit to
a Centronics parallel port on your PC. If you have a newer
PC, the parallel port may not be configured to be Centronics-compatible,
and you may see printed output that looks like this:

If your printed output looks like the above example,
you need to change the hardware settings for your parallel
port through your PC's setup program. The way this is done
varies depending on which PC you are using, but the following
provides general instructions. For more detailed information,
refer to your PC's technical documentation. Or you may want
to consult the person who supports the PCs in your organization.
1. Restart your PC.
2. Watch the startup messages that appear on the screen.
When you see a message that says "Press F1 for Configuration/Setup"
(or something similar), press the indicated key.
You'll see a screen listing various hardware setup options.
Depending on your PC, you may need to scroll the list or move
to another screen or menu. The keys you need to use are typically
listed on the bottom or right side of the screen.
3. Look for an option named "Device Settings",
"I/O Port Settings", or "Parallel Port".
Move the cursor to that option. (This option is named differently
on different PCs).
4. Using the keys specified in the setup program, change
the parallel port setting to "Standard", Compatible",
or "Centronics". (This setting is named differently
on different PCs).
Note: Settings named EPP, ECP or Bi-directional are incorrect
and will cause the output result shown above.
5. Using the keys specified in the setup program, save your
changes and exit the setup program.
6. After your PC restarts, try printing from the GraphicsPro
Designer application again.
